Established in 2018, Gallery Prologue (formerly Mantissa Art) is focused on modern, contemporary & historical Indian Art.

We showcase artworks by renowned as well as unfamiliar Indian artists from the 20th century whose artistic language is contextualised by our research to elucidate its significance within the spectrum of the history of Indian art.

Gallery Prologue was founded Mr. Aliasgar Mithaiwala, who is a Post Graduate in Modern and Contemporary Indian Art & Curatorial Studies. He has an exemplary track record and over a decade of hands-on experience in handling a wide plethora of Indian art across genres.
